08-01-2012 - 'Public Enemies' Episodes 2 & 3
After a strong episode 1, BBC's Public Enemies had an equally successful episode 2 & 3, with fantastic reactions all round! All of us at DMFHQ are very proud of Mr Mays and everyone involved in Public Enemies.

04-01-2012 - 'Public Enemies' Episode 1
BBC's Public Enemies had a great premiere, with overnight figures of 4.1 million and a fantastic reaction from audiences. We asked people to tweet us their views on Danny and the show, and here are some of our favourites:

03-01-2012 - 'Public Enemies' Postponed
BBC's Public Enemies was meant to be shown tonight at 9pm, but has been postponed due to a last minute change in the BBC schedule. It will now be shown at 9pm on Wednesday, with episodes 2 & 3 on Wednesday and Thursday respectively.
01-01-12 - The 'Five Days of Mays' Starts Today!
The Five Days of Mays (as coined by DMFHQ!) starts today, with Sky's Treasure Island airing on Sky1 at 7pm tonight! Make sure you tune in and see Danny playing the role of Doctor Livesey! Concludes tomorrow at 7pm.
And then on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, BBC's Public Enemies is on at 9pm, with Danny playing the lead role of Eddie Mottram. Don't miss it! It looks to be fantastic. Watch the trailer for it below!

03-12-2011 - New 'Public Enemies' Air Date
TV Rage have posted that the first episode of Public Enemies will be airing on the 2nd January at 9pm, with the 2nd and 3rd episodes on the 3rd Jan and 4th Jan respectively.
Treasure Island is airing on Sky One on the 1st Jan at 7pm, with the second episode on the 2nd Jan. It's going to be a very Danny-filled first week of the year!

23-11-2011 - More New 'Treasure Island' Pics & Video Interviews
Sky have updated their Treasure Island site with lots of new content! There is a 'Making Of' video which features Danny, and interviews with some of the cast, which include some exclusive clips of the show! The videos can be seen by clicking on the 'Menu' button on the Sky TI page, and then onto 'Videos'. 02-11-2011 - Danny Cast in 'Byzantium' - New Vampire Flick
It was revealed today that Danny has been cast in the new vampire thriller, Byzantium, from the makers of Interview With The Vampire. He will join the likes of Gemma Arterton, Saoirse Ronan, Caleb Landry Jones, Bradley James and Sam Riley. Head over to Bloody Disgusting to find out more!

11-10-2011 - 'Public Enemies' at BAFTA
Two-thirds of DMO HQ went to see the BAFTA screening of BBC's Public Enemies and we can say that it is absolutely fantastic! Great performances all round, but especially from Danny. The man himself told us after the screening that Public Enemies may be airing on TV on the first week of November. This is still to be confirmed though.
08-10-2011 - Danny on 'Something For The Weekend'

25-09-2011 - BAFTA 'Public Enemies' Screening
BAFTA have announced a screening of Public Enemies on Monday October 10th, followed by a Q&A with writer Tony Marchant and Director Dearbhla Walsh.
Public Enemies is a new, BBC One three-part drama created by multi-award-winning writer Tony Marchant.
28 year old Eddie (Daniel Mays) is released from prison after serving ten years for murder. He attempts to settle back into his old community - a community that doesn't want him. One of the few people he can talk to is his probation officer, Paula (Anna Friel), a woman who's only recently come back to work after a suspension: one of her offenders murdered again while under her supervision.
Paula is not responsible for the murder for which she has been scapegoated; Eddie did not commit the crime for which he served ten years. But the overstretched system says they must take the blame. And there's nothing they can do to change that. Maybe their only hope of redemption is with each other? The stories of Eddie and Paula are complex, gripping, surprising and moving, while the writing powerfully explores the issue of rehabilitation and whether as a society we really believe in it. Directed by Dearbhla Walsh (The Silence, Little Dorrit, Funland) and written by Tony Marchant (The Mark of Cain, Recovery, Holding On), Public Enemies is a Tiger Aspect production for BBC One.

17-08-2011 - Treasure Island Teaser Trailers & Exclusive Doctor Who Pic
A source on Twitter has kindly told us that there will be teaser trailers of Sky's Treasure Island at some point during the broadcast of the new series of Strike Back on Sky1. The series starts on Sunday (21st August) so make sure you keep an eye on Sky1 for some footage of Danny as Dr Livesey!

16-08-2011 - Doctor Who & Welcome To The Punch Updates
It was announced today that Doctor Who will be returning on the 27th August, which should mean that Danny's episode, Night Terrors, will air on 3rd September! The press release for the second half of the series was also released, which contains a small synopsis of each of the episodes, including Night Terrors:
"A distress call from a terrified little boy will break through all barriers of time and space and lead the Doctor to visit the scariest place in the Universe. George's bedroom. George is terrorised by every fear you can possibly imagine. Fears that live in his bedroom cupboard. His parents are desperate – George needs a doctor. But allaying George's fears won't be easy. Because the monsters in George's cupboard are real."
In Welcome To The Punch news, Danny's agents, Curtis Brown have added the name of the character that he plays in the film - Nathan Bartnick.
